This HF will invest only in listed assets, but with total freedom to establish its equity exposure. The concentration per issuer may be up to 20%. There are no limits on asset allocation, in terms of currency, geographic zones (including emerging markets), sectors or capitalization, and, as for fixed income, there are no limits on duration or credit quality.
The HF will have different tools to carry out its investments, from direct investment in the equity and CIS market to the use of derivative instruments. The fund will maintain two main drivers of performance generation: on the one hand, stock selection, which will focus mainly on fundamental analysis, looking for investment opportunities with significant appreciation potential. On the other hand, equity exposure will be modulated, based on top-down macroeconomic research. By means of this analysis, the aim is to increase the vehicle’s exposure to equities in scenarios in which the stock market may perform well, and the fund’s exposure may reach more than 100%.
